Zoe Rose, Zoester Toaster, Toast, ZoZo, Zobo, Stireen

I never give the girls individual blog time so I thought I would do a little post on each munchkin. Today is Zoe.

Our little Zoester has become quite verbal. Her favorite thing right now is for us to say "ready...set" and then she yells "go!". She has even started trying to say it all and says "ehee...eeeh....GOOO!" She will hop on her little car and fly down the hall with her long legs working hard! She had also started anticipating some of her favorite car movie scenes (yes, I let them watch movies in the car) and will bust out with "blah blah" before the little baby Einstein person does. But by far the cutest thing she says is her "lion" sound. We say, "Zoe what does the lion say?" And she gets so excited and says "roar" and not like a "rarrrrr", were talking like the spoken word "roar" no hint of an actual growling sound. Cuteness overload for sure! We get the occasional "one" when we ask her age, she consistently asks for "Nanas" "mum mums" "ball" and "ba" (bottle). When she hears Nora fussing on the monitor (because she is ALWAYS up first) she says "NorNor" and jumps to her feet and starts walking down the hall to go get her, yelling her name all the way. She calls me "mama" but also just says that word all day. Today at lunch she was looking straight at the waiter and calling him "mama" as clear as day every time he came over. Strange. She says "dada" or "da" to Lance, unless she just calls him "mama" which is what happens most of the time. But I was "dada" for a while too. She likes to chunk toys and say "uh oh" and "tank oo" when I give it back. She just likes to be heard.
She doesn't take a paci, but sucks the heck out of that bunny. It is NASTY. We are washing it constantly because is is super gross. This is right after her nap and she insisted I put that bow on her head. :)

She is just a hilarious, active little thing that literally runs circles  around the house. She loves us to chase her and is definitely still accident prone! She is getting better but still kind of goes full speed ahead off the top of the bed or top of the ottoman. She is a wild child. We have decided she is just too proficient of a walker for her age and could possibly use a few more problem solving skills to be running and jumping and climbing!

Zoe is such a lover. She LOVES people. Loves waving to people, loves cuddling, and absolutely loves giving kisses. She tries to kiss Nora all day and just thinks that any family member that walks in needs a kiss. She almost always wakes up before Nora and let's me snuggle with her for sometimes 20 minutes while she takes her bottle. She will look at me and come in for a kiss, snuggle up and drink a little more bottle and then just lay her little head on my shoulder. It really is heaven!

She still really needs two naps and most days she gets two. She has been known to wake up at 5:30am on more mornings than I would like while her sis will snooze until 7:30 or 8. Sometimes she will sleep a little later, but I really do see her morphing into a consistent early riser. Oh well good thing she is so sweet! However, it is a bit depressing!

Her favorite toys right now are things she can ride and her water table. She loves splashing and loves being outside. She usually runs strait to the front door and starts banging on it and fussing to go outside before Nora even gets up. She always wants to go go go and I'm actually trying to get more play dates lined up for us so she can play with other kids more often. But when one wakes up at 8 (and is not nice if she doesn't get her sleep) and one at 5:30 we are often napping half the day. When I let her out she often runs straight to the car and starts beating on the door saying "bye bye!" She definitely wakes up with a mission.

She isn't fussy, she never has been. But she continues to be very loud and has an extremely high pitches shreak! She squeals as she runs around all day. She loves to pretend with her tea set and babies and purse. She likes us to put her purse all the way up on her shoulder and proceeds to walk around the living room SO proud with her big belly hanging over her diaper. She has also started bringing us blankets and wants us to tie them around her neck like a cape. Not sure where she got that idea. She is definitely the more passive of the two and usually loses most battles for toys. However, she doesn't seem to care and I often find myself saying, "Zoe you had it first, take it back from her!" Not sure if that's best, but it's kinda sad sometimes.

I don't want to brag....but moms are allowed to sometimes right? Ok good. Because I must say my little Zo Zo is one smart little cookie. We are impressed every day with the things she does and concepts she grasps. She is just very social and very quick to pick up on things. Just today at church all the little cousins were playing and one of them was telling her mom "no" that she didn't want to leave. When it was time for us to go Zoe sat down on the floor and said "no". This is the first time I had heard her say "no" and was quite impressed it was in context and I don't even think it was a fluke. I think we have a very bright little munchkin in our hands. Ok bragging done, sorry!

Zo Zo we love you so much and are having so much fun being your mommy & daddy. Thanks for being the best baby around!! :)

Little mess loves putting articles of clothing on her head. Sorry if it's inappropriate to put undies on the blog!
