Hello old friend!

Hi again blog world. It's good to be back! I have been pretty busy lately/not had much to blog about really. My mom asked me why I don't blog anymore and I told her that I didn't really think people would want to read about how I wake up and go to work all day! :)

However, we have been doing more than just working and I thought it was about time to get back into the blogging thing!

So lets began! First, I must share that Lance will be starting a new job Tuesday. He was working as a personal trainer at 24hr fitness while he was looking for a job and they actually (after about a month long interview process) have decided to hire him on full time working in a management position with the company! Whew! Job hunt finally over. Thank you Jesus!!!

I had a bit of a job change as well. The company I started working for lost their contract with the building we were in and a new company took over. Initially, I planned to stay with my original company and just be transferred, however the new company offered me a job and I decided to go with them. I am very happy with this new company and VERY glad I made the switch. I am in the same building, same job exactly, I just work for a new company and have a new boss. I love being a Speech Therapist more and more everyday and am so glad I suffered through graduate school!

Ok enough about work, lets talk about Christmas! I am SO excited for the holiday season this year!! We have Thursday night game night with some people and next week I am hosting a Thanksgiving party for our little game group. I am making a real live turkey and everything! Wish me luck! I have also been scouring the Paula Deen holiday baking magazine and have tons of crafty christmas ideas too! Its been a few years since I have had the time to enjoy the holidays and I can't wait!! However, I may have to triple my hours at the gym at this rate!!

We continue to LOVE living here, aside from the recent weather, which has been AWFUL and I mean AWFUL, we are having a lot of fun! We placed membership at church and have really gotten involved with the young married class. We have also loved being so close to so many of our closest, wonderful college friends. There are a few more people that need to get here ASAP to complete the group in Houston (you know who you are), but we are really blessed to be surrounded by such close friends and family! We welcome any family that wants to move close to us....hint hint! ;)

I'm not sure if I am supposed to be posting this on my blog.....I called to check if this was ok and didn't get a hold of her so have made the command decision to just say it (plus she said it on facebook). But the absolute highlight of my life at the moment....like I am excited beyond expression is that Betho and Cody are having a baby! I know I am sounding dramatic by saying this but I am seriously beside myself with excitement. I truly LOVE this baby so much already and can't imagine how much I am going to love it when it is in my arms on May 1st. My boss needs to be ready for me to leave work with zero notice b/c I will NOT miss this baby's entrance into this world! Betho and I have always done everything the same and I'm not going to lie, I always pictured us pregnant at the same time and having our kids pretty much play out our life, doing everything the same. However, I think this is perfect for them and I am planning on playing out this dream with my first and her second!! Just typing this makes me want to do a little dance! When I found out I literally started running down the hall into my office. I was about to burst with excitement and had to get to a closed door to let out a victory scream!! Everywhere I go I imagine doing it next year with Betho and the baby! So exciting!

Alright, I am off to clean the house. We have people coming over for dinner tonight, Thanksgiving dinner with friends here Tuesday and inlaws in Friday. This is going to be a fun week, but I am thinking that people would not appreciate visiting us with the house in its current state!

Happy Saturday!
