I have a request for all of my blog readers....male or female, but I am guessing the responses will be mainly female. :) But I was on the phone with my mom the other day telling her how I cook the same things over and over. I actually got a cookbook from my aunt as a wedding gift and it's full of family recipes. However, I ONLY cook from it and think I need to branch out. However, cooking kinda overwhelms me and I get nervous trying new things.
SO if you have the time and would like to post your "easy, do it all the time recipie" I would LOVE it!!
Thanks in advance!!

This is Preston's favorite meal ever (tied with a Chicken Sopapilla no beans and queso from Chuy's)
Chicken Sonora
Chicken Breast Cooked – I usually use 3 breasts and just boil them in water. Recipe says 4 cups. Cut the chicken into small pieces.
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 can cream of chicken soup
15 ounce can chili without beans (I use Wolfe Brand)
4 ounce can salsa and taco sauce (I use Ortega Taco Sauce, Medium, Original – it comes in an 8 ounce bottle)
½ cup milk
1 small onion chopped (I don’t always put the onion in because some of my family doesn’t like onion).
12 corn tortillas (I always use flour instead of corn – and don’t use 12).
½ pound grated Cheddar Cheese
½ pound grated Monterey Jack Cheese
In a bowl mix soups salsa, milk and onion.
Tear tortillas into bite-size pieces.
Layer half of the chicken in the bottom of a large casserole. Then add half of the tortillas, half of the soup mixture and half of the cheese. Repeat layers. (I don’t always take the time to layer, you can just kind of dump it all in and it taste the same.)
Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes.

1. Open Box
2. Pour some of what's in the box into a bowl.
3. Pour some milk on top of what's in the bowl.
4. Eat.

Kayla- this is my "emergency dinner" when I don't have time to make anything! It seriously takes less than 10 minutes, and is absolutely delicious (all the butter may have something to do with that!).
1 package store bought ravioli (any flavor)
6 tablespoons butter
2 tablespoons balsalmic vinegar
parmesan cheese
walnuts (if you like them)
Cook ravioli.
Melt butter in saucepan until it turns a caramel color. Take off heat right when it stops bubbling (so the butter doesn't burn).
Mix in the balsalmic vinegar.
Toss ravioli and sauce together.
Top with cheese and walnuts.
Serve with a salad, and there's dinner!
I just signed up to have Kraft email me recipes! I will let you know if they are any good!
