EWWWW Roaches!!!

Ok, so the reason I am sitting at my computer at 11:30 a night blogging is because a roach is keeping me awake! I was sitting on my couch working on some stuff and I heard a little noise come from the kitchen. I look up and see a HUGE roach crawling across the kitchen floor! I run to wake up Lance and right as we are getting into the kitchen it crawls under the stove!

I have several questions & dilemmas on this matter.

1. HOW did a roach get into my apartment? This may sound like a stupid question but its not like it just walked in the front door. Did it somehow come through a whole in the wall? And if so, where are these holes!? And even more importantly WHY are there roaches in the walls!?

2. I am afraid the reason it is under the stove because there are tons of crumbs under there. I hate any sort or crumbs or dirt of any kind in the kitchen but CANNOT figure out how to clean the floor under the darm stove! Any advice?

3. If there is 1 roach in the house does that mean it is living with its whole family behind my stove?! I certainly hope not because that is just not ok with me! This home is way to clean and & I am very offended that this little creature felt that he belonged in my kitchen!

I am almost 23 years old and am not sure why I am sooooo terrified of a tiny bug. But I really am. I am sitting indian style on my couch and am horrified of even letting one foot down for fear it will jump out and crawl onto my foot! UGH! Wish me luck as I go to sleep with this filthy creature reproducing in my kitchen. I am putting a towel under my bedroom door so that it can't get in while I am sleeping! I think this is Satan's way from keeping me from working on my bible study because I was really getting into it when this little discusting freak scurried across the.........OK I have an update! As I was writing that sentence it just ran across the floor and tried to squeeze out the front door! (sorry for the awkward sentence I ran across the room with my computer) I think our weather stripping is worn out and it actually DID COME IN THE FRONT DOOR! So I am going to call the landlord first think on Monday!

Well thanks for letting me ramble on for about 10 minutes about a bug! Thank goodness for Lance and my tennis shoe! No more roach!!
Goodnight!

(Rox talks about politics on her blog & I talk about a bug! How are we best friends Rox?)

you make me laugh!

growing up, my mom was so afraid of roaches if there was one, she'd put a big cup or bowl over it to trap it and it would sit like that all day until my dad came home to "rescue" her.

they are sick little creatures, I don't blame you.

hahahahahhaha that was amazing! i seriously had a PERFECT image in my head of that whole entire fiasco. and ps- my mom once locked herself in her bedroom and left me, riles, and reid out (keep in mind this was in our elementary years) to get rid of the nasty flying roach. she literally REFUSED to come out until we had killed it. so um...don't feel bad. they're NAST!

i lovvvvvvvvvvvve you and i misssssssssssssssss you!!! and THAT's why we're best friends! :)

OH the memories of apartment life are all coming back to me. That is where I had most my roach moments!! I won't remind you of them as you would have a difficult time sleeping!! My advice. Bengal roach and bug spray. This is the most amazing bug killer ever. Married to a guy from the country he doesn't believe in exterminators. Yes, that is difficult for me. After I found Bengal bug spray our house has no more spiders or any bug. I get mine at Lowes, but I did see it at the grocery store recently. You will sleep sound after using it. Make sure and put the red straw in the sprayer. I once burned my finger spraying without the straw. : ) Good luck!!
